So August 4 was the release date of Arashi's newest CD, Boku no Miteiru Fukei. So far, it's gotten lots of different responses from exuberant to underwhelmed. Most people seem to enjoy it, though, so that's good. I don't know if it still justifies $50 for the CD, but the way I see it I'll buy it as a fan and just dl all their other shit. lol. Been downloading music again, and I've come across some really great stuff. One great album in particular is The Tokyo Tea Suite by AbJo, a DJ from San Diego, CA (yeah sociologique I see you gerl XD). Yesterday was the main day for San Francisco Pride, and I had a helluva time. I'm looking for relatively new Backstreet Boys clips, and a lot of them take place in Japan as that is their most lucrative market right now - the Japanese never get tired of pop and they're practically the only people who ever buy CDs anymore. Being a huge international band, BSB is a regular fixture on "Music Station" when they roll into Tokyo. ( Read more... )
